Sporting de Cabinda and Académica draw at the end of the first round of Girabola – Jornal OPaís

In a game to adjust the calendar, referring to the 14th round of the National Championship, the Cabindan team drew, yesterday, 1-1, at Tafe

In preparation for the 14th round of Girabola 2023/2024, Sporting de Cabinda and Académica do Lobito drew, 1-1, yesterday, at the Tafe Stadium. The goals were scored by Pedro in the 27th minute and Nelo in the 68th minute, respectively.

With this triumph, the Cabindan team occupies 12th place with 12 points. In turn, students from the city of Lobito, in the province of Benguela, are in tenth position with 16 points. In addition to the two goals, the two teams did not produce the spectacle that the fans expected in the stands.

It was a pale match with no great moves to drive the fans wild in the most important moments of the 90 minutes. Having said that, suffice it to say that the National Championship is led by Petro de Luanda with 34 points.

Desportivo da Lunda-Sul is second with 33 points, one less than the Luanda leader. Sagrada Esperança da Lunda-Norte is third with 31 points.

At the bottom of the league table is Recreativo do Libolo do Cuanza-Sul with nine points. In the recent past, the Cuanza-Sul team won four national championships, as well as inscribing its name in the Afrotaças.
