Spot®, the Boston Dynamics robot, invites itself to the Paris half marathon for its first appearance in France

For the second leg of its European tour, Spot®, Boston Dynamics’ quadruped robot, accompanied the runners of the 2022 Paris half-marathon – Harmonie Mutuelle Semi de Paris 2022 – throughout the weekend. Presented for the first time in France, Spot® was exhibited on the Hyundai stand last Friday and Saturday, where it made a strong impression on visitors who came to pick up their bibs for Sunday’s race.

The brand considers robotics and mobility to be complementary, in the sense that one accelerates the development of the other, and vice versa.

At CES 2022, Hyundai shared its vision for robotics in the real world and in the metaverse around the theme “Expanding Human Reach”.

At the same time, as a long-standing partner of sport and athletes, Hyundai is committed to working closely with all runners at all levels, whether they participate in races or not.
