Spotify to end Harry-Meghan couple’s podcast service The service has been terminated with the cancellation of the contract between the two groups. The company has issued statements in this regard. Harry and Meghan’s podcast series started airing on Spotify in August last year. Megan’s podcast ‘Archetypes’ was on air. This podcast has already completed 12 episodes.
The broadcast of Archetypes was also the biggest contract signed by the Harry-Meghan couple, who immigrated to the United States following parting with the British royal family. A contract of regarding $2.5 was entered into. Archetypes won the People’s Choice Award, a prestigious podcast award, within months of airing. However, Harry and Meghan were unable to raise the podcast to the standards Spotify demanded. Spotify canceled the deal following this failure.
