Hello Georgette, indeed we do not know a magnificent start to spring but it is in season. We are still within the standards for the season if we take the overall average for the past 7-8 weeks, but it’s the light that is in deficit. The cause is the withdrawal of the anticyclone much too far over the Azores and this flow which hesitates between west and north or even northeast. No real gentle rise yet but we are only in the first third of the astronomical spring and the thermometer will eventually rise. The heat is present and it is enough to see the forecasts on the Iberian Peninsula and the many heat records threatened in Spain. We should already reach 15 to 18°C at the end of the week under a dry trend.
And on the rest of the country this Monday?
This low pressure will go between the Netherlands and Germany while the pressure field will rise a little. In the morning, we will find continuous rains in the south and a light pattern of showers in Hainaut, Brabant with a little sun at the sea. Over the hours, the dry trend will assert itself with some gaps in Flanders, the Tournaisis, the Mons region to the west of the capital. Another shower to the east of the capital and eastern Hainaut to the south, but less frequent.
Afternoon, drier weather and a last shower in an alternating sky and always more clearings between the cumulus clouds at the sea. On the other hand, slightly more frequent showers will be observed in the south and the relief. The maxima will reach 8 to 12°C under a moderate west-northwesterly wind. It will therefore be necessary to keep the big coat. In the evening, a residual cloud here and there but generally it will be drier.
