St. Petersburg Exchange Resumes Trading in Russian Securities

Moscow. the 3rd of November. INTERFAX.RU – On November 6, the St. Petersburg Exchange will conduct trading in the main trading mode in securities of Russian companies, the exchange said in a statement.

The published list contains regarding 30 securities, including shares of the St. Petersburg Exchange.

“Information for investors and trading participants on the timing of the resumption of trading in foreign securities, trading modes and available groups of instruments for making exchange transactions will be posted on the official website of the St. Petersburg Exchange,” the message adds.

OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control, a division of the US Treasury Department responsible for sanctions enforcement) on Thursday added the St. Petersburg Exchange to the sanctions list. After this announcement, trading in foreign and Russian shares on the stock exchange was suspended.

Later on Thursday, the St. Petersburg Exchange announced that trading in foreign and Russian securities in the main trading mode will not be held on November 3, they are planned to begin on November 6. At the same time, on Friday at 14:00 the exchange launched trading in Russian securities.
