The French race will end in the mountains, at Gran Colombier, where the Slovenian Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team) will seek to cut time on the leader, Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo-Visma), in the fight for the yellow jersey.
This will be the stage
The route will be mostly flat, with peaks of a maximum of approximately 300 masl; however, the stress will begin in Hauteville-Lompnes, a peak that reaches 771 meters and will have an intermediate sprint episode at the same top. This will be witnessed in the 87.3 km of the test.

The race will go uphill, with 17.4 km remaining to reach the finish line, exactly with the climb up the Grand Colombier, legendary for its appearance in several editions of the Grande Bouclé. You will pass through Artemare and Culoz, with inclines of at least 7% and up to 12%.
