Stalker who climbed a wall and assaulted his girlfriend… Court dismisses arrest warrant

I told you yesterday that a man in his 20s was caught by the police after getting a stalking warning from the police, but he entered his girlfriend’s house through a pipe and assaulted him.

However, this time, the court dismissed the arrest warrant for this man, saying, “There is no fear of escaping or destroying evidence.”

Yesterday around 0 am.

A man climbs a pipe in a sparsely populated residential area.

After a while, a police car arrived and the police grabbed the man and came down.

The man, who turned out to be in his 20s, was confirmed to have climbed the pipe to the second floor and entered his girlfriend’s house without permission, then took his cell phone and assaulted him twice.

My girlfriend called 911 before the phone was stolen, and when I heard only screams, the police rushed to the scene.

“After the man yelled at him, only the woman could squeak. As I looked out, the two cars were police cars…”

About an hour before the arrest, when my girlfriend asked me to break up on the street in Jinju, Gyeongnam, I got a stalking warning from the police who got into a fight with this man, but I went back to my house and committed the crime.

Immediately, the police applied for an arrest warrant for violating the Stalking Crime Punishment Act, trespassing, and assault.

However, the Changwon District Court Jinju Jiwon dismissed the arrest warrant today.

Another reason for dismissal was ‘there is no fear of escaping or destroying evidence’.

The stalking murder case at Sindang Station revealed that the follow-up crime of the stalking perpetrator could be fatal, and although this man had a history of violence in the past, the court released it as it is.

“It’s a case that can be evaluated now as ‘the level of concern about harm is very high’ for the victim. (The dismissal of the warrant) I think that it is no different than giving a message to the stalking perpetrators, ‘Even if you do this, you will not be arrested.’ I hear it.”

The police said they would strengthen patrols so that the victim could live in a safe place and follow the life cycle of the man who was released.
