Standard’s new owners promise ‘a lot of activity’ in the transfer window and want to ‘play Europe every season’

The new owners of Standard de Liège, 777 partners, made their first media outing since the takeover of the Liège club. This Saturday, they chose the pages of the DH to expose their strategy and lift a corner of the veil on their intentions on the banks of the Meuse. Those are Josh Wanderco-founder of 777 partners, and John ArciniegasCEO of the company, who took the floor.

Ambitious, Wander and Arciniegas recalled that the financial stability of the club was the main priority during the first months. “First you have to create a sustainable financial profile […] and ensure financial comfort for years to come. Once this is done, Standard will be able to have sporting success every season because they will no longer have to worry regarding money.”
