According to the latest bulletin from the Regional Health Agency (ARS), this Friday, March 8, 2022, health indicators reflect a slight improvement
of the epidemiological situation in Brittany in terms of Covid-19. However, while incidence rates are falling, hospital activity continues to increase markedly

Brittany has recorded 54,548 new positive cases since 1is april. The incidence rate now stands at 1,675.9 cases per 100,000 inhabitants (-187.4 points) at the regional level with a positivity rate for RT-PCR and antigen tests of 41.8%.
More than 600 hospitalizations due to Covid
This Friday, April 8, 607 hospitalizations for Covid reasons (+41) were recorded in Brittany, including 44 in the intensive care unit (+7) and 413 in conventional medicine (+38).
Since the start of the epidemic, 2,588 patients have died in hospital (+47).
ARS Bretagne and the regional prefecture call for increased vigilance, on the maintenance of barrier gestures and the protection of the most fragile populations. In this context of still active circulation of the virus, it is also recommended to inject the second booster dose, now extended to all people aged 60 and over, in order to strengthen protection against serious forms of disease and prevent death.
