Star Academy: Evaluations, Duets, and Nominees – Who Will Survive?

This week, placed under the sign of carte blanche, pushed the six remaining students of the academy to roll up their sleeves. After assessments on the theme of love and a one-minute improvised dance, the academicians had to agree on the duets for the next prime and had to nominate the name of each student who will perform a song with the stars invited.

Thus, Axel will sing “Ti amo” with Umberto Tozzi, Djebril will perform “Kid” with Eddy de Pretto, Lénie “N’insiste pas” with Camille Lellouche. Julien will share the stage with Claudio Capéo on “A Man Standing”, Pierre will sing “Caravane” with Raphaël. Finally, Anggun will accompany the Belgian Héléna on her title “La neige au Sahara”.

The nominees are…

If Lénie seems to stand out at the top of the ranking, despite her health problems, the Belgian candidate, for her part, was very critical following her performance in the evaluations. “The song was shit!”, she declared to her comrades after her performance. “I love her voice, but she needs to pick us up more. She stays in her bubble,” explained the singing teacher, Adeline Toniutti. For the stage expression teacher, the candidate simply missed the start of her performance. Finally, the director added that she had very good foundations, but that, perhaps due to shyness, she was unable to shine, neither in dancing nor in singing.

Finally, Julien’s performance completely won over the faculty. “He is 100% all the time, for us it’s a treat,” admitted the director.

Following the evaluations, Lénie, who, as the director mentions, came first for each teacher, and Julien, offered the best performances. They logically find themselves immune. Héléna, Pierre, Axel and Djebril are on the bench of nominees.

Three candidates will be saved by the public, the fourth will definitely leave the adventure this Saturday, January 6.
