As we have noticed, Star Wars is now much more than a series of films, comics and a few series of animations, as qualitative as they are (or not). From now on, the license is progressing by mixing, in a coherent way, comics, Disney+ series, video games and films.
It goes without saying that the latest trilogy, The Force Awakens, The Last Jediet L’Ascension de Skywalker has divided. Episode VII has questioned, VIII has largely polarized fans, while the last episode has sometimes been mocked for staging ideas considered absurd and a “simplistic” scenario.

But since then there has been The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, The Bad Batchand the series Obi-Wan Kenobi is on our doorstep. A little later, we will be entitled to a series on Ahsokato the series Andor, The Acolyteas well as the project Grammar Rodeo. But Disney and Lucasfilm are not forgetting the cinema, and several projects are underway. We will start with the film by Taika Watiti (Thor : Love and Thunder), then we will continue two years later with Rogue Squadrondirected by Patty Jenkins (Wonder Woman).
Rian Johnson’s ‘trilogy’ delayed due to competition
But if you’ve followed the development of the license, you’ve no doubt heard of the fact that Rian Johnson, director of Star Wars: The Last Jedihad to make a new trilogy At the movie theater. We are therefore not sure to discover a trilogy as we heard it until then. Still, indeed, Rian Johnson must realize two suites at At Knives Out, with a consequent budget of 450 million dollars. HAS Knife Drawn 2 should land this fall on Netflix, on a date that remains unknown. It will therefore be necessary to be very patient to discover in theaters the new Star Wars films by Rian Johnson, for which no exit window has not been disclosed.
Solo’s failure will serve for the future
During the interview, she is also rcome to failure from Solo : A Star Wars Story, a spin-off that told the youth of Han Solo. For the occasion, Harisson Ford had been replaced by Alden Ehrenreich, and Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian) had been by Donald Glover.
