Starliner, the Boeing capsule, reaches the ISS for the first time

(Belga) The Boeing capsule, Starliner, docked Friday evening at the International Space Station, more than an hour behind schedule due to final checks during maneuvers, according to a video broadcast in direct from this test flight, which must demonstrate that the ship is safe to transport humans in the future.

After a first failed attempt in 2019, this step finally marks a success for Boeing, which has meanwhile been overtaken by SpaceX for the transport of astronauts. NASA wants the two companies to eventually serve as a taxi to the Space Station. (Belga)
