On Friday and Saturday, the “Starnacht from the Wachau” celebrates its tenth birthday in Rossatzbach (Krems district). Barbara Schöneberger and Hans Sigl will moderate. On stage: Andreas Gabalier, Melissa Naschenweng, Roland Kaiser and many more.

For many, the “Star Night from the Wachau” is a fixed point of the year: singing, dancing and partying in the open air. The finale of the Starnacht year 2022 will also take place this year in the UNESCO World Heritage Site Wachau. Rossatzbach on the Danube, opposite Dürnstein Castle, is serving as the venue for the tenth time.

In 2012, the Starnacht Arena was built for the first time on the camping site of the small town with only 88 inhabitants. “The view from this square over the Danube to the ruins was decisive for the location of the Starnacht home port in the picturesque Wachau,” according to the organizers.
