The 12th edition of the Ski Mountaineering World Cup and 4th edition of the Comapedrosa Andorra has given the official kick-off this afternoon with the inauguration that has been celebrated in the town of Arinsal, which was attended by the Minister of Culture and Sports, Sílvia Riva, the Consul General of Massana, Olga Molné, the General Manager of the ISMF, Roberto Cavallo, and the official delegate of the ISMF, Jordi Canals. All of them have celebrated the arrival of a new World Cup in Andorra, and specifically in La Massana and Arinsal.

The test path It will take place entirely within the ski domain of Pal Arinsalspecifically in the Arinsal sector, and its goal is to reach the Layer Alt Peak, located at 2,570 meters, with a total drop of 1,400 meters. This change will not affect the spectacularity of the test since, despite being carried out entirely within the ski area, it continues to maintain the same high mountain characteristics, as well as its high sporting level.

The starting gun will be at 9.30 h with the start of the senior women’s Individual Race, followed by the senior men’s category, scheduled for the 10.40 h. At 11:40 a.m. the participants of the Open modality will leave and in the afternoon the awards ceremony of the Individual will take place in the town of Arinsal, and the delivery of the Top-5 numbers for the Vertical on Sunday.
