Starts at the UNACH Congress of Medicine

Doctors and professors from Colombia, Chile, Bolivia and Mexico participate.

With the participation of 200 health specialists, the Autonomous University of Chiapas, through the School of Chemical Sciences, launched the 1st. International Congress of Integrative and Regenerative Medicine, with the Convention Center “Dr. Manuel Velasco Suarez.
During the opening ceremony of the meeting and on behalf of the rector, Carlos F. Natarén Nandayapa, the Academic Secretary, Guillermina Vela Román, welcomed all the participants, highlighting the work done by the organizers, creating a space for the dissemination and generation of knowledge.
He stressed that this event in collaboration with the Center for Training in Integrative and Regenerative Medicine (CCAMETRA), which will conclude on May 28 and will take place in the hybrid format, with keynote lectures and workshops that will be taught by doctors and professors from Colombia , Chile, Bolivia and Mexico.
For her part, the president of the aforementioned congress, Yesenia Yadira Pérez Ovando, assured that this important meeting has the virtue of being the first of its kind in Mexico and it is a source of pride that it takes place in the Autonomous Region of Chiapas.
“Let us remember that Chiapas is a state with cultural richness where the worldview of the peoples that are converging in the state speak of traditional medicine, different types of methodology are practiced to save the populations, so it is important to be able to integrate the medicines that serve us and hence the relevance of this event”, he stressed.
With all of the above, it is important to remember that Integrative and Regenerative medicine allows addressing global aspects of patients such as; physiological, psychological, nutritional and social, offering the possibility of reducing traditional medicine and incorporating orthomolecular supplementation.
