State Film Awards distribution ceremony today in Thiruvananthapuram. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the award distribution at Nishagandhi Auditorium at 6 pm. (Kerala state film awards distribution today)
Director KP Kumaran will receive the Kerala government’s highest film honour, the JC Daniel Award, and veteran journalist Sasikumar will receive the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award for lifetime contribution to television.
Best actor award will be given to Biju Menon and Joju George and best actress award to Revathi. Dileesh Pothan won the best director award. The ceremony scheduled for August 3 was postponed due to heavy rains.
