Karl-Anthony Towns 60 Timberwolves vs Spurs, 14 mars 2022
Anthony Edwards 49 Timberwolves vs Spurs, 7 avril 2022
Anthony Edwards 48 Timberwolves vs Warriors, 10 novembre 2021
Anthony Edwards 40 Timberwolves vs Blazers, 25 janvier 2022
Karl-Anthony Towns 40 Timberwolves vs Rockets, 9 janvier

The Timberwolves have a formidable scoring efficiency duo. The 60 points of Karl-Anthony Towns against the Spurs is quite simply the best performance of the season in the NBA (tied with Kyrie Irving), and a new career high for the pivot. When Anthony Edwards, he passed the 50-point barrier for the first time twice. Given his talent, the No. 1 in the draft should pass this bar – probably several times – this season.

Jarred Vanderbilt 19 Timberwolves vs Rockets, 9 janvier 2022
Karl-Anthony Towns 17 Timberwolves vs Spurs, 14 mars 2022
Karl-Anthony Towns 17 Timberwolves vs Blazers, 25 janvier 2022
Jarred Vanderbilt 16 Timberwolves vs Thunder, 7 janvier 2022
Karl-Anthony Towns 16 Timberwolves vs Thunder, 5 janvier 2022

Not necessarily titular, Jarred Vanderbilt yet harvests the biggest perf of the season for the Timberwolves, flirting with 20 rebounds against the Rockets. He places himself twice in this ranking, validating his impact off the bench. The rest of the array is logically dominated by Karl-Anthony Townssince the playing time and the length of the pivot allow him to finish the season as the 6th NBA rebounder (10.88 rebounds on average).

D’Angelo Russell 15 Timberwolves vs Blazers, 5 mars 2022
D’Angelo Russell 14 Timberwolves vs. Jazz, December 23, 2021
D’Angelo Russell 12 Timberwolves vs Thunder, 9 mars 2022
D’Angelo Russell 12 Timberwolves vs Warriors, 16 janvier 2022
Patrick Beverley 12 Timberwolves vs Thunder, 7 janvier 2022

Holder holder with a keen sense of the pass, D’Angelo Russell logically dominates this ranking for the Timberwolves. His 15 assists against the Blazers are a great performance, and the former Nets finished 6th in the NBA in assists (6.7 assists on average). He also has 10 of the Wolves’ 12 best performances this season. Note the presence of Patrick Beverleywho has managed at times to contribute to Wolves’ great season.

Only 1 triple double this season for Minneapolis players. Unsurprisingly, it is the work of Karl-Anthony Towns. Against Utah, January 30, 2022, the pivot was pleased with 31 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. This is his second career, the first having taken place in 2016. It is the only time this season where he has exceeded 10 assists. Since the pivot is a rebound vacuum, it is complicated for other players, especially Anthony Edwards et D’Angelo Russell, to claim this reward.
