Dengue fever has been detected in Bashkiria twice this year. The dangerous tropical disease was diagnosed in May and August, reports Rospotrebnadzor of the republic. In both cases, it was detected in tourists who came from trips to hot countries.
Rospotrebnadzor reminds that tropical diseases such as Dengue and Zika fevers, as well as some others, are transmitted by mosquitoes. The distribution area of infections is the countries of Africa, South America, the Caribbean, Southeast Asia and Oceania.
Dengue fever is also called dengue fever. It begins suddenly and causes fever, pain, and a rash all over the body. Tourists traveling to countries with an equatorial-tropical climate are advised to avoid contact with mosquitoes.
