Stay Safe and Beat the Heat: Tips for Pilgrims in the Holy Sites

2023-06-26 20:10:59

Today, Monday, the Saudi Ministry of Health issued a health warning to pilgrims regarding the atmosphere in the holy sites.

The Ministry of Health warned pilgrims of the possibility of heat exhaustion as a result of direct exposure to sunlight.

This came following the National Center of Meteorology warned of high temperatures during the Hajj season this year, which might pose a threat to the health of the pilgrims.

The ministry recommended using an umbrella, drinking plenty of fluids, and avoiding unnecessary physical activities during daylight hours.
