According to the data of the General Authority for Statistics, iron declined to the level of 2874.45 riyals per ton at the end of last July; It is the lowest level in 37 months since it was recorded at 2574.39 riyals per ton in June of 2020. The average price per ton was 3009.56 riyals in May 2023, 3108.30 riyals in April and 3132.27 riyals in March.
On an annual basis, the average price per ton declined by 24.4%, with a decrease of 928.43 riyals, compared to its price in July of 2022, during which it amounted to 3802.88 riyals.
Since the beginning of 2023, the average price per ton decreased by 453.31 riyals, a decrease of 13.6% compared to its price at the end of 2022, which amounted to 3327.76 riyals.
