“Bringing sustainability to fashion”.

Last week, Stella McCartney traveled to Windsor Castle in England to collect a rewarding award. It was to King Charles III that the English designer was honored with a CBE for her services to fashion and sustainability. A reward that earned him the title of Commander of the Order of the British Empire and adds to his appointment as an Officer of the Order of the British Empire – OBE – obtained in 2013 under Queen Elizabeth II.

“It’s an honor to be recognized for my mission to bring sustainability to fashion. As a British designer, it’s a day of great pride and emotion for me – not just to receive this incredible honor from His Majesty King Charles III, but also to have been included in the final birthday honors of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II” has indicated Stella McCartney.

During the ceremony, the designer wore a regenerated wool dress NATIVA™️, a label that respects animal welfare standards, respect for local communities and environmental protection. The brand also mentioned that the textile was traceable thanks to the blockchain, optimizing the link between its eco-responsible fabrics and its technological strategy. To complete the look, the designer bet on vegan pieces through archival satin pumps and a cruelty free clutch. Note that the outfit was made in England.
