Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed at the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher. On the other hand, losses were recorded in the , and sectors, as the indices led downwards.
At the end of trading in Frankfurt, it recorded an increase of 0.46%, while it fell by 0.24% and consolidated its position at 0.64%.
Among the leading stocks today was Covestro AG (ETR:), which rose by 3.80%, or 1.77 points, and closed at 48.32. On the other hand, Rheinmetall AG (ETR:) added 1.81% or 4.70 points to end at 264.80, while SAP SE (ETR:) added 1.55% or 1.94 points to 127.14 by the end of the session.
As for the worst performer at the end of the day’s trading, Zalando SE (ETR:) closed down by 1.72% or 0.49 points, and traded at 27.94 levels at the close. Commerzbank AG (ETR:) declined 1.36% or 0.14 points to end at 10.15 and Fresenius SEVZ (ETR:) closed down 0.90% or 0.27 points to 29.87.
On the other hand, the best performance in the MDAX index was recorded by Bechtle AG (ETR:) stock, which rose by 4.45% at a price of 44.62, Talanx (ETR:) also continued its rise by 2.49% and closed at 59.60 levels, as well as the share Gerresheimer AG (ETR:) rose by 2.25% and ended its trading at a price of 117.90.
Among the stocks with the weakest performance today, we mention the share of TAG Immobilien AG (ETR:), which fell by 6.15% and closed its session at a price of 9.77, and the share of Fresenius Med & Kaja ST (ETR:), which lost 5.09% at a price of 45.15 and a share. Nordex SE (ETR:), which weakened by 3.17% and closed at 11.45 today’s session on the stock exchange.
On the other hand, the best performance in the TecDAX Technology Index was recorded by Bechtle AG (ETR:), which rose by 4.45%, at a price of 44.62. ADTRAN Holdingsa Inc (ETR:) also continued its rise by 4.02%, and closed at 7.34 levels. Likewise, Verbio Vereinigte Bioenergie AG (ETR:) rose by 3.46% and ended its trading at a price of 44.61.
Among the stocks that underperformed today, we mention Nagarro SE (ETR:), which fell by 6.87% and closed its session at a price of 75.20, Nordex SE (ETR:), which lost 3.17%, at a price of 11.45, and Carl Zeiss Medi ( ETR:), which weakened by 1.83% and closed at 93.10 in today’s session on the stock exchange.
The number of gainers exceeded the number of shares that closed lower on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange with 350 compared to 310, while 82 remained unchanged.
Talanx stock (ETR:) climbed to an all-time high, rising by 2.49%, or 1.45 points, at a price of 59.60. Shares in Gerresheimer AG (ETR:) climbed to an all-time high, rising 2.25%, or 2.60 points, to 117.90. Nagarro SE shares (ETR:) fell to a record low in 52 weeks, and it fell 6.87%, or 5.55 points, to a price of 75.20. Carl Zeiss Medi (ETR:) fell to a record low in 52 weeks, continuing its decline by 1.83%, or 1.74 points, at a price of 93.10.

The EUR/USD pair maintained its stability by 0.17% and traded at 1.09 levels, while the EUR/GBP pair remained unchanged by 0.24% and reached 0.86 levels.
Dollar index futures traded up by 0.17% at 102.86.
