Stock Market: Europe closes little moved, Frankfurt +0.24% – Breaking News – Ansa.it

European stock markets posted modest growth while Wall Street turned negative. Markets were dominated by expectations of Fed Chairman Jerome Powell’s next rate cuts on Friday at the Jackson Hole symposium. The prevailing bet is that a moderate approach will be adopted, without any cuts.


Frankfurt closed up 0.24%, Paris ended just below parity (-0.01%), London just above (+0.06%).
