Vienna (OTS) – “After Marlene Svazek, Udo Landbauer also stands against her federal party chairman Herbert Kickl. While he has called for zero pay for politicians this year, his colleagues in the federal states are receiving a hefty salary increase. The two FPÖ state party leaders are openly ignoring the instructions of their own party chairman. Unity in the FPÖ only exists in words and not in their actions. This shows clearly: Kickl’s empty promises are not even being implemented by his own party. The FPÖ state party leaders would be well advised to fundamentally reject Herbert Kickl’s increasingly radical policies and to use common sense. Because at the moment the Kickl-FPÖ is on the extreme right-wing fringe,” said the general secretary of the People’s Party, Christian Stocker, commenting on the salary increases for representatives of the FPÖ in Lower Austria and Salzburg.
