Babler’s communist manifesto, including asylum chaos and left-wing politics, was legally implemented today

Vienna (OTS) – “Andreas Babler is pushing the SPÖ to the leftmost edge of the political spectrum in terms of personnel and content. With his speech today, which was largely the same as at the last SPÖ federal party conference in June, Babler is making the SPÖ’s massive shift to the left. His communist manifesto, including asylum chaos and left-wing politics, was legally implemented today. This makes it understandable that many prominent Social Democrats are missing from today’s party conference – such as Franz Vranitzky, who, according to media reports, did not come because of Babler’s economic policy. But Babler’s duplicity also came to the fore today – while Babler publicly calls for respectful treatment in politics, he also supports the diction chosen by trade unionist Reinhold Binder, who told the employers ‘It’s okay…’ during salary negotiations. “It is clear: Andreas Babler is not qualified to take on responsibility in this country,” commented the General Secretary of the People’s Party, Christian Stocker, at today’s SPÖ party conference.
