If you have any object in your line of sight, chances are someone on the internet has used it to play Doom.

So following a pregnancy test, a printer, a graphing calculator and a plan, it is the turn of a trusty rotary dial phone to be used as a controller to indulge in the classic shooter.

Spotted by PC Gamer, the magnificent invention of Twitter user Yoshino proves once once more that the future belongs to people with a lot of time to spare.

As for the controls, nothing too rocket science: we signal 1 to shoot, 2 to go left, 3 to go right, 4 to move forward, 5 to go back and 6 to perform an action.

Forget the DualSense, this is the controller of the future.
