First Coop branches not supplied: Switzerland is in danger of running out of paper bags – “very tense situation”
Waste paper has not only become more expensive, it has also become scarcer. Coop, Migros, Denner & Co. – or their customers – are now feeling this. Will the paper sacks open soon?
Employees of the CH Media editorial team have made identical observations in the past few days. An editor looked in vain for a paper carrier bag at the cash register in the Coop branch in Baden train station. A saleswoman explained to him: “We don’t have any more, we’ve run out. There are delivery problems.”
