The storms raged most violently in the Styrian districts of Graz-Umwelt, Weiz, Hartberg-Fürstenfeld and Southeast Styria. According to hail insurance, an area of ​​5,700 hectares was affected. The amount of damage is 700,000 euros.

In Carinthia, the districts of Völkermarkt, Wolfsberg and St. Veit an der Glan and a total area of ​​5,700 hectares were particularly affected. The hail insurance accounted for around 600,000 euros in damage there.

In Burgenland, the storms mainly hit agricultural areas in the Mattersburg district. 1,400 hectares of agricultural land were affected by thunderstorms. A damage of 300,000 euros was incurred.

The Burgenland state security center reported 23 storm operations. About 15 would have affected the district of Mattersburg and here in turn the communities of Marz and Rohrbach near Mattersburg. Cellars and garages were flooded and pumping out work was necessary.
