Sepp Straka got off to a good start in the Tour Championship in Atlanta. At the final of the top 30 pros in the FedExCup rankings at the East Lake Golf Club, he played a round of 68 following three birdies and a bogey and was ninth following day one with a total of six under par.
In the lead at 15 under was Scottie Scheffler of the United States, who scored a 65. According to the play-off system, tour leader Scheffler started at 10 under par, Straka started at 4 under.
