After a traffic accident on Monday morning, firefighters had to free an injured person from a minibus that was lying on the roof.

According to the fire brigade, the accident occurred shortly following 6 a.m. on Monday in the town of Brunn near the Vienna Federal Highway in Straßwalchen. There the minibus overturned for an unknown reason and ended up on its roof – on the driveway to a single-family home.

“One person had to be freed from the vehicle using hydraulic rescue equipment,” reported the Straßwalchen fire department. The injured man was taken to hospital following receiving first aid from the Red Cross. In addition to the Straßwalchen main station, forces from the Watzlberg fire brigade and the Neumarkt main station were also alerted.
