Officials from the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc) arrested two individuals for theft of strategic material from CVG Ferrominera Orinoco, in Puerto Ordaz.
After completing the investigations, a commission from the Ciudad Guayana Municipal Delegation arrested the men, aged 46 and 21, in the Cambalache sector, in the Unare parish.
Presumably, citizens entered the company’s facilities, via the railway, at kilometer 6.5 to remove parts from the track to sell them.
The case was made available to the Third Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry of the Criminal Judicial District of Bolívar state.
