Group’s First Enlistment

Lee Know’s enlistment marks a first for Stray Kids. Born on 25 October 1998, he debuted with the group in March 2018 and is the oldest South Korean member. Under South Korean law, most able-bodied men must serve in the military for 18 to 21 months. JYP Entertainment noted that Lee Know’s military service will cause some schedule changes in early 2027 but did not specify which activities he will miss. The group holds the record for the most number-one albums on the Billboard 200 chart in the 21st century.

Despite the announcement, Lee Know intends to maintain a connection with his fans before his enlistment. The agency confirmed he will participate in diverse content and personal activities to meet STAYs. “We ask for your generous understanding regarding the sudden notice,” JYP Entertainment said, promising additional information through future announcements. The agency stated that before his service begins, Lee Know will use various content and individual activities to meet with fans.
