Publishers Annapurna Interactive and iam8bit, in partnership with Skybound Games, announced that pre-orders for the physical versions of Stray, the third-person cat adventure developed by BlueTwelve Studio, are now possible. Players who own an Ultra Deluxe Exclusive Edition of Stray (PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5) in your paws can exclusively on iam8bit.com preorder. Shipping will begin in Q4 2022. The retail edition (PlayStation 5) is available for pre-order today at retailers worldwide and will begin shipping September 20, 2022.
In collaboration with iam8bit, BlueTwelve Studio, Annapurna Interactive and Skybound Games, the iam8bit exclusive edition of Stray for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 for $44.99 respectively iam8bit.com available for pre-order and will start shipping in the fourth quarter of 2022. This premium edition includes a 14.4″ x 24″ poster of the first teaser image of Stray, which commemorates the first reveal that wowed gamers and cat fans alike. This version also includes six art cards, as well as a cozy chenille patch featuring the game’s cat face logo, perfect for any size backpack. This version comes packaged in a matte black O-Sleeve with a sleek holofoil finish.
Fans can also Stray Pre-order the retail edition (PlayStation 5) for €39.99. This contains six full-color arts cards, as well as a physical copy of the game. The retail edition will ship on September 20, 2022.
Accompanying the physical editions, BlueTwelve Studio, Annapurna Interactive, iam8bit and Skybound Games are releasing an elegant and stylish vinyl disc with the Stray-Soundtrack by composer Yann Van Der Cruyssen. The 2xLP on 180g black audiophile vinyl features futuristic packaging showcasing Fernando Correa’s atmospheric album artwork and is complemented by an elegant sleeve with foil embellishments. Of the Stray-Vinyl soundtrack for $41.99 also includes a code to download a digital version of the album and will ship in Q1 2023.
Stray will be released digitally on July 19, 2022 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam. Players take on the role of a stray cat who must unravel an ancient mystery in order to escape a long-forgotten cybercity amidst the detailed neon-lit alleyways and grim environments of its seedy underbelly. Along the way, the cat befriends a small flying drone known only as the B-12. Together, the two companions must find a way out.
Stray will be available in retail from September 20, 2022. The exclusive editions will be delivered from the fourth quarter of 2022, the vinyl edition from the first quarter of 2023.
