Ahead of yesterday’s State of Play broadcast, everyone was trying to predict the games Sony would show. Even though PlayStation has told everyone that the event will focus on Japanese publishers, Stray is the name we’ve been seeing on social media and various forums.
The game has been promoted by Sony in the past, so the game’s presence at State of Play seemed obvious, but it didn’t. Publisher Annapurna Interactive actually announced a few hours before the broadcast that it would not happen.
That being said, the company has confirmed that Stray is still on track for 2022.
