In order to serve construction and upgrading Prenn Pass (main gateway to Da Lat city, Lam Dong), the Department of Transport of Lam Dong province has agreed on a plan to organize traffic on related routes when the Prenn pass is closed in early February.

During the construction period, the organization of traffic for vehicles is divided into two sections. Section 1 from the foot of Prenn pass (the end of Lien Khuong-Prenn highway) to Datanla waterfall tourist area will ban all traffic.

Section 2 from Datanla waterfall tourist area to the intersection with Truc Lam Yen Tu street (the gate of Tuyen Lam lake national tourist area), organizes two-way traffic in combination with construction and takes measures to ensure traffic safety. pine; Vehicles in and out of residential group 13, ward 3 (Da Lat) circulate along Truc Lam Yen Tu street.

Particularly, the section from Truc Lam Yen Tu to the beginning of Prenn pass is prohibited from all vehicles except licensed vehicles (including cars and motorbikes of people in residential group 18, ward 3, the section near the beginning of Prenn pass). and some other means.

The Duc Trong-Da Lat route and vice versa are also divided into 2 routes. Route 1 from the direction of Lien Khuong-Prenn Expressway to Mimosa Pass (parallel to Prenn Pass) and vice versa for all vehicles.

For route 2, vehicles (except trucks) move from the direction of Lien Khuong-Prenn expressway, turn right through the underpass and enter the highway connecting the highway with Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Area (Do Quyen flower street). ) and follow the routes in this tourist area to get into the center Da Lat city.

The project to upgrade and expand Prenn Pass, approved by the People’s Committee of Lam Dong province, has an investment of more than 550 billion VND and will start construction on February 10.

The construction period is expected to be completed and put into use within 1 year, contributing to the relief of traffic jams when passing through this pass, especially during the current holidays and Tet.
