Public Authority for Manpower has introduced a new service on Sahel App, a government single window application.
Services such as cancellation of work permit and amendment of residence have been newly added to the app. With this, it will be possible for institutions and trading companies in the country to conduct employee work permit service transactions online.
Applications received through the app will be reviewed and necessary action taken. Then the status of the application will be updated online, officials said. About 300 electronic services of various government departments are available through Sahel App.
The Sahel app has been developed by connecting the government ministries with the computer network of the Civil Information Authority. More than 10 lakh subscribers are currently registered on the Sahel app.
