Street art, brewery and discretion at De Gaart

We imagine very well that
the new Innside by Meliá hotel
would have dreamed of better than a global pandemic for his debut at the Cloche d’Or, in particular for his restaurant De Gaart. But never mind: thanks to a few creative partnerships, a lot of willpower and just as much elbow grease on the part of chef Patrice Noël, the establishment is slowly but surely emerging from its early torpor.

An undeniable asset: its very pleasant terrace, which brilliantly combines a very colorful and street art side – thanks to the large fresco created ad hoc by the essential Luxembourg artist Eric Mangen – with an atmosphere that is both fresh and discreet. where it is good to land away from the tumult of this once again very busy district. The hotel also bets on the festive side, with a few events organized throughout the year.

On the plate side, chef Patrice Noël is now also focusing on freshness and plays the garden card to the fullest, with a festival of colorful vegetables and freshness on the plates. The early buffet is over, we are well served at the table with a short and efficient menu, highlighting beautiful and good dishes. With, for example, the veal tartare with oysters, the leek vinaigrette or the risotto with beetroot and parmesan… All this is accompanied by an interesting wine list, including some well-chosen local references.
