From the Guárico state, with the provision of vehicles to the different Police Coordination Centers distributed in the 15 municipalities, they strengthen the security system in the entity to guarantee the social well-being of the population.
In this sense, the regional president José Vásquez assigned two mobile police stations, one for the Valle de la Pascua parish and one for Calabozo, as well as delivered 20 police motorcycles to the Guárico State Police Autonomous Institute (Poliguárico ) and eight motorcycles, which have been repowered to also be at the service of police officials, in addition two motorcycles will be delivered to Civil Protection officials.
Likewise, the governor announced that a tanker truck for firefighters will be delivered, with a storage capacity of 10,000 liters of water, which was rehabilitated to improve the equipment of the Fire Department of the Juan Germán Roscio Nieves municipality.
The Secretary of Citizen Security and President of the Autonomous Institute of the Guárico State Police, G/D Luiger Ugas Medina, reported that during 2022, 12 special security devices were carried out.
In addition, he indicated that criminal incidents have been reduced by 102% compared to the previous year, thanks to the efforts of more than 1,700 officials.
