The objective of this new meeting is to strengthen trade and economic relations between northern Morocco and Andalusia, while recalling the many advantages and investment opportunities in this region.
The Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Regional Investment Center (CRI-TTA) is strongly committed to promoting the destination of the North, highlighting its immense potential in terms of business opportunities in the various key sectors of the economy. In this sense, the CRI-TTA has just announced in a new press release the second edition of the business meeting “Doing Business in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima”, scheduled for July 6 in Seville. This second edition will be held “after the success of the event in Casablanca last March”, says the same source.
Initiated by the CRI-TTA, this second stage of Seville – which has the membership of the CGEM Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, the Morocco-Spain Economic Council (CEMAES), the Confederation of Andalusian Employers (CEA) and the ‘Agence Andalucia Trade, will be held at the headquarters of the ECA. “The objective of this event is to strengthen trade and economic relations between our region and Andalusia”, it is reported, while recalling “the many advantages and investment opportunities in the region of Tangier- Tetouan-Al Hoceima”.
Like the first edition, this new meeting will be an opportunity to inform the Spanish economic operators present on the territorial offer in terms of investment in the TTA region. The work of this second stage will focus on several themes, in particular the assets of the North, the new incentives provided for in the new Investment Charter, the taxation of investments in Morocco, the industrial and logistical offer TMSA/MedZ (industrial land, port, offshoring, etc.), financing, support, training and administrative procedures for setting up operators.
It should be recalled that the launch of the first stage of “Doing Business in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima” in Casablanca had been preceded by the publication (under the initiative of the CRI-TTA) of a guide under the theme “The territorial offer investment and support opportunities in the region”. This publication, which had been produced according to a participatory and inclusive approach involving the various actors of the North, has set itself the main objective of directing investors towards new niches and facilitating access for project promoters to information relating to support offers proposed by specialized bodies in the field, each according to its field of intervention.
