ABU DHABI, 16th June / WAM / His Excellency Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of State, received HE Candith Machigo Dlamini, Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa, and her accompanying delegation, participating in the work of the third session of the joint committee between the UAE and South Africa Held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abu Dhabi.
During the session, the two sides discussed strengthening relations between the two countries, and means of cooperation in various areas of common interest.
This joint session confirms the solid ties between the two friendly countries that have extended since their establishment in May 1994 and their commitment to strengthening them.
Trade exchange and partnerships between the two countries have witnessed remarkable growth since the establishment of the joint committee between the UAE and South Africa in August 2015, in various areas of common interest, including the economic and investment sectors.
