2023-10-09 09:30:18

Rome – A nationwide public transport strike called by trade union associations began on Monday in Italy. Problems arose particularly in the metropolises of Rome and Milan, where many people had to rely on private cars because of the strike. Buses, trams and subways as well as regional trains are on strike. The strike was called to demand the renewal of collective agreements and their adjustment to inflation.
