Strike paralyzes British emergency services: 25,000 people are out of work

A national strike paralyzes emergency services in large parts of Britain today. Some 25,000 emergency doctors, paramedics and emergency center staff have been laid off in England and Wales. GPs and pharmacists will be working on Wednesday.
