It only took a few moments for the announcement of the cancellation of the 36 remaining dates of the Multitude Tour to cause reactions to rain on social networks. The vast majority of fans hail Stromae’s courageous decision to put his health first, despite the disappointment of having waited so long before being able to see him in concert again, in the end… not seeing anything at all.
The public is not the only one to react. Stromae has many aficionados in the music community and among people. Loïc Nottet immediately reacted on Instagram with a tear-eyed smiley evoking his sadness. Hoshi like Sara De Paduwa wished the Maestro courage, as did the duo Ibeyi and Louane (watoutfortornado). Typh Barrow punctuated his message with three squares which, it is assumed, are intended to support the singer in these difficult times. Because certainly, canceling so many dates and disappointing so many fans (many concerts were sold out) is not done lightly.
