The young artist, Menna Arafa, was born on May 1, 1999, in the governorate of Alexandria, and she combined lightness and presence since her childhood. Her mother encouraged her to work in the field of , and she accompanied her everywhere she went.
The little girl was able to draw the attention of director Samir Seif, and in 2005 he nominated her to work in the series “Cinderella”, which dealt with the life story of the late artist Soad Hosni, starring Mona Zaki.
But the series did not achieve the desired success, but it was a good light for Menna Arafa, as filmmakers turned to her daring in front of the camera, and dealing with a strong sense of the characters who are entrusted to her, and in 2006, director Wael Ihsan chose her, to stand in front of the comedian Ahmed Helmy in “The Bump Movie”.
When she entered the stage of boyhood, she found the path to fame paved because of the stardom that followed her in her childhood, and she glowed in cinema and television, but the confusion of her private life consumed a lot of her artistic balance in recent years.
On the other hand, the artist, Menna Arafa, confirmed that the divorce took place officially between her and her husband, the young actor Mahmoud Al-Mahdi.
The news of the divorce comes two months and a week after Mahmoud al-Mahdi announced his marriage to Menna Arafa, on May 21.
The relationship of Menna Arafa and her ex-husband, Mahmoud Al-Mahdi, witnessed several escalations, as she had previously separated twice after their marriage contract, and she was slow to take the formal divorce step, before the reconciliation took place on the first days of last Eid Al-Fitr, and then the divorce two weeks after Eid Al-Adha.
Mahmoud Al-Mahdi accuses Menna Arafa of treason. Mahmoud Al-Mahdi, who is free of the artist, Menna Arafa, commented on the news of her official separation; Through his personal account on the famous photo site “Instagram”.
Mahmoud Al-Mahdi wrote: “The divorce took place. Unfortunately, it was a betrayal and her promise, and he laughed at me at the beginning of the passport at the time, in order to preserve my house. She remained silent and changed her mother, the reason for the ruin of the house because of the money that I spend on her from him and because I refused to work in this field.”
He added: “And her mother had no objection to giving up in exchange for money, but everything needed evidence… She preferred to try to some extent ruined the house and took a lot of money from me.
And he, freed from Menna Arafa, continued: “My right is with our Lord, and God suffices me and the best agent in destroying the homes of her mother, but by God, all the money that they took and everything that I did will give it to her. After that, I paralyzed them and spent and did what they did not work with me.”
Mahmoud Al-Mahdi, who is divorced from Menna Arafa, deleted his post in which he talked about the betrayal of his ex-wife, the young artist, “according to what he said via my Instagram story.” Al-Mahdi wrote another post afterwards.
Freed Menna Arafa wrote, in his post on the story of his personal account on the Instagram application: “God suffices me and is the best agent in every mother who is behind the ruin of her daughter’s house and all her financial concerns are, but our Lord compensates me for every loss I lost and my trust in our Lord is great because I did not shorten it, on the contrary, I was Hafez.”
The artist, Menna Arafa, had recently revealed that the divorce between her and his wife, Mahmoud Mahdi, was not officially completed, during her guest appearance on the “Seven Sama” program presented by Raghida Shalhoub.
