University Of Toronto Libraries Seeks Student Engagement Associate To Bolster Undergraduate Community

Toronto, On – The University Of Toronto Libraries (UTL) Is Now Accepting Applications For A Student Engagement Associate.This Temporary Position, Based At The St. George Campus, Aims To Enhance The University Experience For Undergraduate Students Through Targeted Programs And Initiatives.The Application Deadline Is June 16, 2025.

Opportunity Details: Student Engagement Associate

Reporting To The Student Engagement Librarian, The Student Engagement Associate Will Focus On Developing, Maintaining, And Assessing Programs. These Initiatives Are Designed To Foster A Stronger Sense Of Community Among Students, Particularly Undergraduates.

The Associate Will Establish And Nurture Connections Between The UTL And Recognized Student Groups. They will work with Student Life And Campus Partners. Their goal will be developing inclusive Library Services and Programs.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinating Student-Centred Library Programs And Events.
  • Planning And Overseeing The Implementation Of Current Student Programs.
  • Facilitating Events And Programs.
  • Providing Guidance To Colleagues, Including Student Staff.
  • Developing And Assessing Student-Centred Programs Using Feedback Methods.
  • Researching And Recommending Improvements To Student Engagement.
  • Designing Research Tools for Program Evaluations.

A Bachelor’s Degree Is Required, Or An Acceptable Combination Of Equivalent Experience.
