As of the morning of January 10, more than 30,000 student tickets had been sold at Lanzhou Station alone. It is expected that student passenger flow will peak from January 10th to 14th. In response to the actual increase in student passenger flow, Lanzhou Railway Bureau implemented “peak charts”, “weekend charts” and “one chart per day” to do its best to serve student passengers.

It is understood that the Zhengzhou Railway Bureau will implement the train operation chart for the first quarter of 2024 from the 10th, and plans to operate 1,269 passenger trains, 36 more than before the adjustment. The additional trains will mainly be in the directions of Beijing, Shenyang, Jinan, Hangzhou and other directions. In response to the concentrated travel of student passengers on some lines, the passenger transport department has strengthened its ability to guarantee student ticket quotas, dynamically monitored the pre-sale situation of student tickets, and added guidance personnel during the peak period of student travel.
