Study Abroad & Language Programs: EXPLORE! Salon – Paris & Aix-en-Provence 2026

by

Aix-en-Provence, France – WEP (World Education Program) is set to host the second edition of its EXPLORE! fair on March 7th, with a follow-up event in Paris on March 14th, aiming to connect students and young professionals with opportunities for international education and language immersion. The events come as demand for overseas study and language proficiency continues to grow among students and young workers.

The EXPLORE! fair, positioned as France’s first salon dedicated to school programs abroad and language stays, will provide a platform for prospective students and their families to explore options for language improvement and cultural exchange. WEP, a long-standing organization in the field of educational and cultural stays – established in 1988 – is hosting the event to facilitate direct engagement between attendees and representatives from international schools and partner institutions.

Participating institutions include Apollo (Ireland), ILAC (Canada), Expanish (Argentina and Spain), and Selwyn College (New Zealand), offering a range of programs from junior and adult language courses to higher education and corporate internships. The fair aims to help individuals define a tailored project based on their specific goals.

A series of conferences will be held at the Aix-en-Provence location, Livepoint (175 place Niollon), addressing key concerns and providing guidance for prospective travelers. The schedule includes sessions on language stays, Gap Years, and Working Holiday Visas at 10:15 AM; a focus on the “High School in the USA” program at 11:15 AM; a general presentation on studying abroad for a year at 12:15 PM; a discussion on the benefits of international experience for resumes and the Parcoursup application process at 1:15 PM; and a presentation on the Dual Diploma program, allowing students to earn an American high school diploma while remaining in their home country, at 2:00 PM.

WEP’s High School program, catering to students aged 14 to 19, allows for study abroad experiences lasting a trimester, semester, or full academic year. The organization emphasizes the transformative potential of this immersion, citing new pedagogical approaches and unique subject matter as benefits. Students live with host families, fostering linguistic fluency and cultural understanding. According to WEP, the experience goes beyond language acquisition, promoting maturity and self-discovery.

The event too aims to alleviate parental concerns about sending children abroad. Laura, a parent of a program participant, highlighted the reassurance gained from attending a previous EXPLORE! fair, stating that meeting the WEP team and speaking with former participants allowed her family to confidently launch their daughter’s study abroad project.

Beyond high school programs, the fair will showcase language stays for all ages, combining theoretical learning with practical application in everyday situations. WEP will also present its volunteer programs, which integrate language courses with social or environmental engagement, offering participants the opportunity to contribute to local communities while developing valuable skills.

Attendees who register before February 28, 2026, are eligible for exclusive discounts of up to €1,000 on school programs. Admission to the fair is free, but registration is encouraged through the WEP website. The Aix-en-Provence event will take place on Saturday, March 7th, from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The Paris event will follow on Saturday, March 14th. Further information and registration details are available on the WEP website: https://www.wep.fr.
