The professionals from champions Sturm Graz will be playing in the Champions League in just a few weeks – the young talents from Styria have already shown their skills against international clubs at the weekend: At the 11th edition of the International Salzkammergut Football Youth Trophy, the U12 youngsters from the black and white team won the tournament on Saturday in Ohlsdorf. The Graz team won a thrilling final against Slovakian club Slovan Bratislava on penalties.
The talents of the host club Askö Ohlsdorf also made a good impression: they celebrated victories against Maribor (3:0) and Szombathely (1:0), and shared the points with Blau-Weiß Linz (0:0). They only suffered defeats against Wiener Austria (1:2), Salzburg (0:1) and in the match for fifth place against LASK (0:3).
