Sander Gillé (ATP 24 in doubles) was pleased with the successful performance with Joran Vliegen (ATP 25), the pair having reached the semi-finals of the ATP 500 tennis tournament in Hamburg on Thursday, an event on clay with 1.831 .515 euros in Germany. Gillé and Vliegen will then offer themselves a little rest after the Cincinnati tournament which ends on August 20. “We chose not to play Winston Salem to rest and be ready for the US Open”, which begins on August 28.
