It was exhausting. It was nerve wracking. It was one big adventure. And one that Patricia and Mia Klidis would not want to miss. After months of planning and preparation, on August 15, at 10:30 a.m., the time had come: mother and daughter (50 and 13 years old) were standing on the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, which at 5,895 meters is the highest mountain in Africa.
